Tea Reviews!

We love sharing our tea and have enjoyed sending samples to tea reviewers all over the country.

We'll be sharing some of the reviews we've gotten this year, starting with a very positive response from Lainie over at LainieSips.com. She definitely knows tea and we were thrilled with how much she enjoyed our English Breakfast Tea. Here's a sample:
"I then allowed the tea to steep for six minutes before decanting. Viola! I had a flavorful cup of tea (malty with a slight citrus backnote from the Ceylon) that was still smooth but also had a bit of astringency and kick. Good stuff. In fact, I’ve come to find it quite addictive: I’m normally a Chinese black tea enthusiast, but this is a great alternative to a Yunnan or Keemun in the morning."

Welcome to Our Blog

The past year has been an exciting one for us at Best International Tea. As we entered the business of tea importing, we also joined a great community of tea lovers, many of whom are also bloggers. We have been encouraged by the warm reception of our Belfast teas here in the US and have enjoyed exchanging ideas and reading about tea through blogs, so it's time to join in ourselves!

For those new to our brand, our company was founded by Rob and Amy Milo, who spent 46 years searching for the perfect tea before discovering S.D. Bell's teas from Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Milo's received the tea as a gift and soon contacted the Bell family about importing and the rest is history. Founded by Samuel David Bell in 1887, S.D. Bell remains a fourth-generation family business and is in its 124th year. We started with the flagship product, the English Breakfast Black Tea and are now importing the full line.

We look forward to sharing news from our company as well as ideas and banter about tea on our blog and welcome sharing and comments from our readers!
